For nearly five decades, Iron Maiden has been one of the most enduring and influential live acts in music. Known for theatrical stagecraft and a relentless touring schedule, the band has performed more than 2,500 concerts in 64 countries and has sold over 100 million records. In celebration of their 50th anniversary, the band launched the Run For Your Lives World Tour, continuing a legacy as the pioneers of heavy metal.
Behind a production of this magnitude, touring logistics play a critical role. Stages, lighting and audio systems, and other production assets move around the world under tight timelines to meet fixed tour schedules. Each show depends on disciplined coordination, reliable transport, and the ability to adapt as the tour progresses.
THE CHALLENGE
Sustaining a multi-continent world tour under tight timelines
With over 1 million tickets purchased by loyal fans, the Run For Your Lives World Tour required the movement of approximately 35,000 kilograms of music and production equipment across an ambitious international routing.
Beginning in Budapest in May 2025 and spanning more than 32 dates across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia, the tour demanded reliable transportation between major cities including Mexico City, San Antonio, Bogotá, Santiago, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Perth, Sydney, and multiple locations in Japan. Each move required careful coordination to meet show schedules while navigating customs, import regulations, and venue-specific constraints.
THE SOLUTION
Integrated air, ocean, and ground transport for global touring
Our team developed a coordinated logistics plan to support the tour’s evolving schedule, managing the movement of production equipment via a combination of chartered 767 freighter aircrafts, 40-foot ocean containers, 53-foot trailers, and a fleet of wing box trucks.
Our senior leadership team and project managers worked collaboratively with production teams to oversee routing, customs clearance, and on-the-ground delivery at each destination, ensuring equipment arrived in sequence and ready for load-in every night.
