ICAT Logistics, Inc. (ICAT), a leading agency-based freight forwarder in the U.S., announces today that it was selected a winner in Baltimore SmartCEO’s 2013 Future 50 Awards Program, recognizing 50 of the area’s fastest-growing companies based on employee and revenue growth over a three-year period. The 2013 award winners exert strong impacts over the local business community and economy, collectively generating $875 million in annual revenue and employing over 5,000 individuals in the greater Baltimore region. ICAT will be recognized for their achievements alongside the other winners at a black-tie-optional gala event and awards ceremony to be held on January 10, 2013 at the Hunt Valley Inn.
This latest recognition follows a number of recent award wins throughout 2012 for ICAT, both within the local business community and from the global freight-forwarding industry at large. A fast-growth success story since 1993, ICAT continues to expand into new territories with their leading Agency Partner program, as well as helping its agency partners grow more profitably, through sharing its “lessons learned” with other like-minded organizations across the industry. Internally, ICAT has also recently implemented a strategic and creative plan to growth and goal achievement, known as “Keep the Momentum Going,” that incentivizes employees at all levels to contribute to the company’s continued success.
“We are excited to receive this latest recognition from Baltimore SmartCEO Magazine as a result of our successful efforts to reach our goals on a consistent basis,” said ICAT President and CEO, Rick Campbell. “It is an honor to be recognized alongside these other inspiring local businesses for their fast-growth, success, and impact. This award belongs to the whole ICAT team for their commitment to achieve our collective goals and support our company’s continued growth path.”
“The companies we are honoring this year are growing in spite of the economic hardships we have all been facing. These companies are investing in themselves, and investing in their people and are rising above the rest. They deserve to be recognized and celebrated because they are moving our economy and this region forward,” says Craig Burris, Founder and President of SmartCEO Magazine, “We are proud to recognize them for their achievements and growth.”
