Airfreight continues to grow, but at a slower pace than it recently has. Freight volumes are trending up at a 4-percent annualized rate, reports the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This is contributed to a strong consumer confidence and an ongoing upturn in the global investment cycle.
“This is well below the double-digit rates of 2016 and 2017 but is still faster than the average pace over the past decade,” IATA says.
As a global freight forwarder that provides air services, ICAT Logistics can help you tailor transportation operations that make your company a model of efficiency.
